Library;

With over 6000sqm of commercial office space tenanted to a variety of users the building provides a unique private government sector interface; including GP Super Clinic, SKG, Pharmacy, Centrelink, BreastScreen WA, Dentist, and numerous other allied health professionals.

The architectural outcome for the building is the first of its kind in WA, in that it incorporates so many divergent facilities which have been designed over two massive 7000sqm floor plates per level with visual interconnection between ground and first floor facilities through the creation of internal streets with large voids (light-wells) creating a vibrant and interactive facility.

At the core of the design is the building’s sustainability credentials incorporating passive solar design features with maximization of natural light and ventilation, undercroft parking for over 200 cars with no mechanical ventilation systems, 100kw photo-voltaic array providing off-set energy to the building and it’s users, rainwater harvesting, water-wise landscape design, and low maintenance materials all resulting in a very low life cycle costing.
